Individual 401KI am semi-retired and may have an opportunity to be a independent contractor next year for the hospital I work for. I would not get benefits but would have income. I have a large IRA from prior private practice and asked my accountant about possibly converting it to the 401K next year if I elect to become an independent contractor. He thought the tax filings that would be required were rather onerous and I am not sure how complex that would make things. Do you have to file a tax return for the 401K for every single subsequent year of it’s existence and how complex is that. Thanks Leslie G Pool
